Technology Innovation Resources Sdn Bhd (TIR) commenced operations in 1989 as an IT Division within Teknosif Sdn Bhd, a seismic data processing company. In 1996, TIR was formally incorporated as Tongkah Information Resources Sdn Bhd, an information technology company, providing IT services to the then Tongkah Group of Companies.

In June 1999, resulting from a change in management, TIR emerged as Teknosif Information Resources Sdn Bhd. Steered by a new management team, TIR realigned its business focus targeting the Government and the Oil and Gas Business. TIR is registered with the Ministry of Finance as a 100% Bumiputra ICT Supplier and Contractor. TIR is also licensed by PETRONAS as an ICT and Services Provider.

Today, with renewed vigour, TIR has rebranded itself and re-emerged with a new image and corporate label. Expanding its business into the region and beyond, TIR is today known as TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION RESOURCES SDN BHD
